The Hindu College Old Boys’ Association was established on September 28th, 1986, a mere 35 years after the founding of Hindu College Colombo itself. In the first inaugural meeting, the Principal being the Patron of the association referred, HCCOBA established with a view to the strengthening of the ties of past students and school. During this inaugural meeting, a constitution was adopted, and elections of office-bearers took place. HCCOBA’s establishment marked the realization among the alumni of Hindu College that their shared experiences and education could serve as a powerful foundation for collective growth and social development.
